Matching the Neck

To preserve products, the neck finish has to match the specifications of the glass product. The European system for this is called DIN, founded in Germany in 1917. DIN is then followed by a number, in this case 18, which is the standard size for dropper bottles in Europe.

Choosing Roll-on Balls

Roll-on balls are generally made from three materials, which are glass, stainless steel and plastic. The great advantage of glass is that it doesn’t react to the contents of the bottle, which makes it perfect for essential oils. While stainless steel is corrosion resistant and provides consistent quality for continued application. Lastly, plastic roll-on balls are the least expensive.
