Thread Compatibility
To ensure a secure seal, the dropper cap and glass bottle must have matching thread specifications. If both products use DIN18, you have a perfect match. DIN is the European industry standard, with 18 referring to the neck diameter. In the United States, the GPI/GCMI system is used, for example, 22/410 refers to a neck diameter of 22 mm and a thread height/style of 410.
Understanding the Series
Dropper caps are available in different series, each with its own design and tamper-evident feature. Series II has a built-in tamper-evident ring and visible side ridges, made from a single mould. Series III features a thicker rim and a more robust tamper-evident mechanism with retention fingers. Series IIID is a variation of Series III with a smooth outer surface for a sleeker finish.
